Additional On February the 19th at approximately midnight Officers were notified by Piners Ambulance of a suspicious person walking around Quinlan’s Tire Store. The Officers arrived and caught the subject inside the business. He tried to escape by running out the back of the business, but Officer Albert Washington’s K-9 caught the subject. The subject was arrested for Burglary. Great job by the Officers and the K-9 unit for quickly arriving at Quinlans and catching the subject in the act. Two of our Police/Citizen Volunteers (Paul Ferguson and Nini Leggett) are participating in the Napa County Sheriff’s Department Citizen Academy. This training is a real benefit to the volunteer with their duties in American Canyon. We also have made arrangements with Napa County Probation and they will start using our interview room a couple of days a week to do their probation interviews with probationers from American Canyon. We believe this service will be beneficial for all parties involved.
