Advice on why forums are dead

Postby Issa » Tue Feb 16, 2010 8:17 pm

I noticed a huge lack of activity on the forums. Anybody have advice on why that is? The visits/hits havent slowed, they are always trending up, but forums have been dead. Why is that? Let me know so I can take care of any issues. Is it registration? Is it because nothing is going on? Is it because other sites? Thank you.

Post here, private message me, or email me.

(I am also screen name "Mattbb61").

Hi Issa!

I thought the forums died because of some type of issue with how they were becoming abusive. Heck, I'll start up again in a heart beat if that is not true!

I went through and deleted several posts. One point that was made to me is how political the forum can be. I never intended this and dont want this to be a political forum. It should be about AmCan and only AmCan. Politics should be elsewhere. So I am going to start being more strict when people make political points that have nothing to do with AmCan directly.

As always. If somebody sees a post that is questionable. please use the "!" icon. Report it and tell me why. I will review and make a decision.

More comments are welcome. Thanks.
